I am not sure if I got a notification when I installed my apps. I think you can be redirect to the app once it has been installed.
- How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?
I think that even though Shopify is really intuitive you can see that at the beginning you need some support from someone that can point to the right direction, so be patience with your merchants and guide them so they can have a stress-free expereince with our platform

Everything can be done on the website with a bit of support from your team!
